What are your musts when it comes to creating the perfect trip? Good weather, killer cycling and no stress!
Are you a planner or do you go with the flow? I follow a loose plan, but enjoy the flexibility of options.

Country you visited that most surprised you? (in a good way? Or in a bad way?) Italy – Was surprised at how laid back many of these folks area. The idea of siestas / a three hour break in the middle of the day needs to be embraced world wide!
Who can you count on, every time, to hit the road with you? Unfortunately, I often travel solo, but my Gravel Cyclist teammate K-Dogg is a regular.
What is the most underrated travel gear? Passport
What three places are on your travel bucket list? Russia and the former Soviet states would be amazing, the remaining 6 states of the USA I haven’t visited and South Africa.
Favorite bike or adventure funny story? Any good gravel bike; although I do have a penchant for classic road racing bikes.
What motivates you? The next adventure; I live to play.
Who is a personal Hero? I wouldn’t say hero, but my Gravel Cyclist teammate K-Dogg aka Kerry. He’s 61yo. He rides and races gravel with me and never follows any training program – no power meter and no computer. Most recently he won the 60+ category at the Dirty Kanza 200 on his first appearance! And, he seldom takes life too seriously. Think big kid. Legend!
